Guido Zurli (Foiano della Chiana, 1929) is an Italian director.
After some experiences as assistant director, in 1962 he had the opportunity to direct a film initially entrusted to Sergio Leone, The Green Flags of Allah. Later, also under pseudonym (among others, Albert Moore, G.Z. Reds, Jean Loret, Frank Sanders) directs numerous genre films, westerns, spy, adventurous and horror, all characterized by a vein of subtle humor.
In 1971 he was offered to go to Turkey to direct a yellow film; the operation is commercially viable and Zurli directs other works of Turkish production.
Meanwhile in Italy during the second half of the seventies, the film industry is in crisis and are offered only sexy or pornographic films. He returns for a period in Turkey, where he will shoot in 1979 the policeman Target man height.
In the Italian film scene he appears as a screenwriter (with the pseudonym of Guider Zurlen) in the film by Raniero Di Giovanbattista Valentina, girl in heat, hard debut by Moana Pozzi, but in reality his contribution to the film is minimal.
