Biography

He was born in 1997 in Rome. He got his first role when he was just 10 years old playing in “A Dinner for Them to Meet” by Pupi Avati. In 2008 he is chosen by Avati again to act in “The Youngest Son”. In 2009 he acquires popularity thanks to the Italian TV series “I Cesaroni”, playing the role of Andy. From that moment on Federico Cesari will act in some of the most popular TV series of the last years: “Don Matteo 11” and “Tutti pazzi per amore 2”. In 2013 he acts in “The Dinner” directed by Ivan De Matteo, and in 2017 he plays the role of Massimo in the film “Non c’è campo” directed by Federico Moccia. In 2017 he is chosen to be one of the protagonists of “SKAM ITALIA”, a remake of the popular Norwegian TV series, produced by TimVision and Cross Production: Federico plays the role of Martino Rametta, a teenager coming to terms with his homosexuality. In 2020 he is one of the protagonists of the TV series “La guerra è finita” by Michele Soavi, and he also dubbed the character of Murphy in “The One and Only Ivan”.
