Laura Esquivel at Giffoni 2017 to present Love Divina

After successful ‘Patito Feo’, Argentinian actress Laura Esquivel is back with new adventures from the TV series ‘Love, Divina’. This is the actress’ first time at Giffoni Film Festival, where the fans have waited for her since the dawn: “I grew up in Italy, so being here is a great pleasure and emotion – she said smiling – I’m in seventh heaven to present such a great new story”.

Warner Music has just created the series’ official sound-track and the protagonist is very enthusiastic about it: “Music – she added – is and will always be my greatest passion. Singing gives me unique emotions, even more intense than acting. I couldn’t be more electrified and enthusiastic about my job”. As a proof of her amazing energy, she also sang a cappella an extract from Mariposa song. “Love, Divina songs – she concluded – are different from those of Patito Feo. There’s more rock, more pop. Patty also used easier words, more suitable for children”.

“I owe a lot to Patty – went on the actress - I was 13 when I started playing the role. I have grown up since then, ten years have gone by and I have achieved many goals so far. Divina is strong, she must go through difficult times but she’s made me stronger”. As for the Festival, it’s been a great experience for her: “I’ll send the pictures of you and this amazing Festival to the cast”.
