The 47th edition of Giffoni Film Festival departed at full speed with Lightning McQueen hitting the blue carpet directly from Radiator Springs. Welcomed by his fans in a real Piston Cup atmosphere, the cute number 95 car filled the guests with enthusiasm, making them experience the emotions of Disney·Pixar new animation film Cars 3. Before the two special screenings, the former at 7pm for Elements +10 jurors and the latter at 9.30pm for Giffoni’s audience, confetti and balloons rained down in a burst of colours in the Cittadella del Cinema. Backpacks filled with dreams, enraptured eyes and hands up to the sky welcomed the 47th edition of Giffoni Film Festival, where reality turns into a pure dream.
Cars world will be at Giffoni Film Festival until Friday the 21st July in the new Multimedia Valley’s SALA CARS TOYS, where huge canvases showing Lightning McQueen and his competitor Jackson Storm are on display. The canvases have been made by Disney artist Gianfranco Florio on the occasion of Mille Miglia 90th edition.
The young guests of Giffoni will also have the chance to make a reservation to try their hand at driving Carrera and Cars toys, radio-controlled car Simba and attending safe driving classes every day from 3pm to 9pm. Last but not the least, they will have the chance to discover Cars theme games by Mattel and the installation of characters and settings inspired to the film and created by Lego.
