To celebrate her 40th birthday, Hello Kitty arrived at Giffoni Film Festival surprising all the children. The event was promoted by pre-school kids TV JimJam, in Italy on Sky Channel 621, that broadcasts Hello Kitty animation series, such as: Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theatre, Hello Kitty's Stump Village, The Adventures of Hello Kitty & friends.
On her arrival, Hello Kitty walked on the Blue Carpet like a real international star and, in the mean time, balloons and confetti rained over her. Children were all extremely excited to see their favourite cartoon character, they had the chance to have a picture together with Hello Kitty at the Photo Corner, which had been set up on purpose for them inside the Cittadella and where expert make-up artists will make the children up as Hello Kitty all day long.
After the Blue Carpet, some episodes of Hello Kitty series were shown in Sala Truffaut.
The sweet white cat, disegned by Yuko Shimizu, will meet the little jurors again in Sala Lumiére today afternoon.
