Now that they are super, they have to become “heroes” too: fans are eager to watch the preview of “DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS”, animated feature film by Warner Bros. Pictures, on the 29th of July at #Giffoni2022. There will be LILLO PETROLO to present the exclusive film, with his thrilling irony which already conquered fans’ affection during the last Festival edition. He comes back this year to talk about his experience as the voice of Krypto the Superdog, together with MACCIO CAPATONDA, voice talent of Ace the Bat-Hound.
In DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS, best friends Krypto the Superdog and Superman have the same superpowers and they fight side by side to defeat crime in the city of Metropolis. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto has to convince a group of pets made up by Ace the Bat-Hound, PB the Potbelly Pig, Merton the Turtle and Chip the Squirrel to learn to control their newly discovered superpowers in order to help him rescue the superheroes.
Jared Stern, expert screenwriter and advisor for “LEGO®” films, will debut as an animated film director. The script, written and directed by Stern himself in collaboration with his long-standing colleague John Whittington, is based on the characters of DC and Superman, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film is produced by Patricia Hicks, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia and Jared Stern. Executive producers are John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, Nicholas Stoller, Allison Abbate, Chris Leahy, Sharon Taylor and Courtenay Valenti.
“DC League of Super-Pets” is a Seven Bucks Production. The film will be released in Italian theatres on the 1st of September 2022, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
