On July 23rd and 24th Rainbow will present the children and kids of the 49th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival with all the spirit and magic of the most popular and loved TV characters, born from the creative inspiration of Iginio Straffi: the lovely protagonists of 44 Cats, the famous Winx Club fairies and the energy of the brand-new live action Club 57 for two days will be the protagonists of special events which will make the festival fly high.
Following is the Rainbow programme: on July 23rd opening with the “Rainbow Kids Day”, with the special events of 44 Cats dedicated to the Elements +3 jurors and Winx Club dedicated to the Elements +6 jurors, while on July 24th there will be the “Rainbow Teen Day” dedicated to the Elements +10 jurors with Club 57.
On July 23rd, the kittens who raised so much enthusiasm during the last edition will be back at the Festival: Lampo, Milady, Pilou and Polpetta, the protagonists of the popular cartoon 44 Cats airing every day on Rai Yoyo. The new series songs, brought to success by the Zecchino d’Oro, have already won over the hearts of the little ones who will have the chance to view a really “cat-tastic” special at 7pm, which will be followed by the meeting with the Buffycats! This event is dedicated to the Elements +3 jurors. On the same day, the Elements +6 jurors will have the chance to watch two unreleased episodes of the eighth season of the saga of the TV most glittering fairies, Winx Club, who will be guests again at the Citadel after 5 years.
A special event to celebrate an important year for the Winx, who debuted on January 2004 on Rai Due, and on 2019 celebrate their 15th anniversary.
Bloom, Stella, Flora, Aisha, Musa and Tecna, with their magic and their friendship, positivity, generosity and commitment, through the years have taken by the hand millions of growing little girls all over the world and will celebrate this achievement with their fans.
The events dedicated to the Elements +6 jurors will be at 10am and then at 2pm. Following the events, giffoners will be able to meet their heroines and take lots of magic pics with them.
The four Buffycats and the six fairies will then walk the #Giffoni2019 Carpet: the little ones will be involved by the lovely kittens and the trendiest heroines of the universe in an unforgettable parade.
July 24th will be the “Rainbow Teen Day” dedicated to the Elements +10 jurors, who will have the chance to feel again the magic of Club 57, the brand-new live action produced by Rainbow and Nickelodeon, airing on Rai Gulp. The jurors will be at the premiere of an unreleased episode of the series, with two screenings, the first being at 10am and the second at 2:30pm, and will have the chance to meet in a special talk event Riccardo Frascari, starring as lead role in the series, JJ. Club 57 follows the romantic adventures of the protagonists of the trendiest music and dance TV show of 1957, year in which they get after travelling back in time.
The citadel will be set as a scene from the show: it will be possible to become one of the characters from the fifties thanks to the collaboration with the makeup artists from the Milan Making Beauty Academy, there will be a jukebox area where to learn how to dance ’50-style and to get ready for the lively and surprising Carpet of the day, with Frascari performing in an amazing dance show with the Rainbow Crew on the notes of the series songs.
