The Foundation 'CON IL SUD' and Giffoni Experience united for the development of the Picentini area

Giffoni is extraordinary and is a true example for whoever speaks about economic development. The achievements are extraordinary both for its structures and for its Human Resources that stand at  its core;  now we need to see how we can work something out together: we will think about it but there is huge potential for possible future collaborations”. Giffoni Experience amazed chairman of 'FONDAZIONE CON IL SUD' Carlo Borgomeo who visited for the first time the Giffoni cultural factory  and the Picentini area.

He is said to have been positively impressed by the brand of the territory that was launched last September by director Claudio Gubitosi. The main mission of the Foundation helmed by Borgomeo is to support financially all projects aimed at strengthening the social cohesion in the South.

“You have had the great ability to strengthen the bond between he territory and Giffoni which is now an international excellency'  – added Borgomeo during the meeting with the Mayors from the territory and all other local authorities from the Picentini that took place at the  'Antica Ramiera –  the old copper factory. Considering the great potential of this Picentini brand and Giffoni  I think we there is potential for ad hoc projects. We will do all we can in order to support this extraordinary example”.

During his visit chairman Borgomeo, had also te opportunity to see the works at the Giffoni Multimedia Valley and to discuss with the Giffoni Innovation Hub team that brought him up to speed with its projects regarding new productions and innovation.

“President Borgomeo has kept his word – said Claudio Gubitosi - when we met in Rome I invited him to come and see for himself what Giffoni Experience represents and the unity with its territory. It was great for all local authorities who had the opportunity to directly see the cultural and financial ideas and potential of  Fondazione Con Il Sud”.
