We are excited to report that DHE Hamad Bin Abdulaziz al Kawari has been nominated for the Chair of General Director in Education, science and culture at the UN. We met him several times in Doha when he was the Minister of Culture and we had the privilege to have him as our esteemed guest in 2015 during the 45th edition of the Giffoni Experience which he asked to visit in order to congratulate us for our support of the activities of the Doha Film Institute. The former minister is very passionate about art and culture and is an extremely talented diplomat. We wish him great sucess  for his new achievement.
