GOMORRA DAY AT GIFFONI FILM FESTIVAL 2016

THE CAST OF THE POPULAR SKY SERIES SET TO MEET THE JURORS ON 17 JULY

The cast of the hit series by Sky Gomorra - La Serie which has been seen in over 150 Countries will meet the international jurors on 17 July at the Giffoni  Film Festival 2016.

The blue carpet will be walked by Salvatore Esposito, AKA Genny Savastano, set to take on his father's kingdom of villainy, Marco D'Amore, aka Ciro Di Marzio, the Archenemy of the Savastano's who takes revenge over his daughter's assassination, Marco Palvetti, the late boss Salvatore Conte, Fabio De Caro, aka Malamore, Pietro Savastano's loyal soldier and protagonist of one of the main controversial scenes of the second season, last but not least the two huge new entries, Cristiana Dell'Anna, who plays brave Patrizia and Cristina Donadio, ruthless Scianel.

This is an incredible opportunity to see all the leading players together in what is considered a one of a kind reunion at the Cittadella. For all the fans who will be able to grab a seat after reserving it online the 'Meet The Stars' is set to start at 12.00 in the Sordi Screening Room, while at 5PM they will be meeting the Generator jurors at the Truffaut. The day will be seen off by the live concert taking place at 10 PM on the 17 July in piazza Lumière, free admission - the “Gomorra Sound” with the musicians Mokadelic who have written the original-soundtrack together with the rappers Ntò and Lucariello, within the Campania Sound Experience.

Furthermore part of the cast will also take place in the GFF MasterClasses. On 16 July Marco D'Amore, will meet the jurors of this special section, organized by BadTaste with Francesco Ghiaccio and they will talk about their experience in the film "Un posto sicuro", and Cristiana Dell'Anna, one of the protagonists of the 'OFF',  section dedicated to young Italian talents. Claudio Cupellini will meet the Masterclassers on 19 July, He has directed the series together with Francesca Comencini, Claudio Giovannesi and Stefano Sollima.The series stemmed from an idea by Roberto Saviano and has been produced by Sky Atlantic, Cattleya and Fandango in collaboration with Beta Film.

Cast and director will arrive at the Cittadel following the huge record breaking success of the second season with a 66 % increase compared to the first season and 6 times higher than Cullt series Game of Thrones.
