Giuseppe Fiorello

Giuseppe Fiorello is an actor, director, screenwriter, producer. He made his debut at the end of the 90s, first in film with KAPUTT MUNDI by Marco Risi and then on television with SALVO D'ACQUISTO, directed by Alberto Sironi. From that moment on, a series of projects, mainly for TV, consecrated him as an important face of the Rai1 network. The great success came first with GIUSEPPE MOSCATI directed by Giacomo Campiotti and then with the miniseries VOLARE, the story of Domenico Modugno which reached over 40% of the TV share. On stage, after the success of Delitto per delitto (alongside Alessandro Gassmann, directed by Alessandro Benvenuti), he had the idea of Penso che un sogno così... directed by Giampiero Solari and blockbuster in theaters since 2013: a story starting from the South and continuing across Italy, an exciting game of mirrors between Domenico Modugno and Fiorello’s father. Among the films Giuseppe Fiorello starred in: A CHINESE IN A COMA by Carlo Verdone (2000), TRE WIVES by Marco Risi (2001), BRAVE MEN by Edoardo Winspeare (2008), BAARÌA by Giuseppe Tornatore (2009), TERRAFERMA by Emanuele Crialese (2011), MAGNIFICENT PRESENCE by Ferzan Ozpetek (2012), L’AFIDE E LA FORMICA by Mario Vitale (2021).
