Leon Golterman
Leon Golterman is an award-winning writer and director of film and television. His work has been showcased at film festivals around the world, including Oscar® and BAFTA qualifying festivals and CineSud’s film program at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. Based in Amsterdam and Los Angeles, Leon is currently a writer on crime series NOOD for Pupkin and BNNVARA and a former writer at RTL, VPRO and European streaming service Videoland. He studied Screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Directing at the University of the Arts Utrecht. He is a Prince Bernhard fellow, a Fulbright scholar and a member of the Dutch Academy For Film. In addition to film and television, he writes for brands such as Heineken, Nomad and Mercedes-Benz. He has directed the short film MORFINE (2018), which is his graduation film, AERONAUT (2022) and NOOD (2023).
