Alessandro Bardani

Director, screenwriter and actor, Alessandro Bardani was born in Rome in 1978. Graduated from the "Corrado Pani"  Academy, he made his directorial debut with the short film RELATIVITÀ. In 2012 he wrote and directed the short film CE L'HAI UN MINUTO?, which won the nomination for the David di Donatello in the same year, was sold to Rai Cinema and was proclaimed "most awarded short film of the year" with over fifty awards. His first experience as an actor was in the series CRIME NOVEL, directed by Stefano Sollima. In 2009 Alessandro was among the protagonists of the short film ICE SCREAM by Roberto De Feo and Vito Palumbo, for MTV Italia. In 2015 he wrote and directed the blockbuster show, The Most Beautiful Century of My Life (l.t.). In 2016 he hosted Happy hour on Radio 2. In 2018 he signed the screenplay of AMICI COME PRIMA directed by Christian De Sica. The film won the "Golden Ticket" as the highest Italian gross of the season. In 2020 he wrote and performed with Francesco Montanari the show La Più Meglio Gioventù. In 2021 he is in the cast of the Sky series on Francesco Totti SPERAVO DE MORÌ PRIMA. Since 2019 he has been the Artistic Director of "AltraScena Festival" which has seen artists such as: Laura Morante, Tiromancino, Marco Bocci, Lillo, Vinicio Marchioni and the magistrate Alfonso Sabella on stage. He is currently engaged in writing a television series produced by Bim and Feltrinelli together with Leonardo Fasoli and Maddalena Ravagli and in a theatrical tour together with Magistrate Alfonso Sabella entitled Il Cacciatore di Mafiosi. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CENTURY OF MY LIFE, based on the play of the same name, is the first feature film he wrote and directed. The film is produced by Gabriele Mainetti for Goon Films and Lucky Red, in collaboration with Prime Video.
