Marianne Farley

Marianne Farley is a director, screenwriter, producer, and actress from Montreal, Canada. In 2014 she directed her first short film, RANSACK (Saccage). Her second critically acclaimed short film MARGUERITE won over forty awards around the globe and earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Live Action Short Film in 2019. Marianne’s latest short film FRIMAS (produced by Ô Films) was also on the 2022 Academy Award shortlist. NORTH OF ALBANY is her first feature film and was co-written with Claude Brie. She has also produced four short films and two feature films, LES NÔTRES by Jeanne Leblanc in which she plays one of the lead roles and NORTH OF ALBANY. Both films are coproduced with Benoit Beaulieu. Through their production company SLYKID & SKYKID they are also developing the feature films LA FAUCHE (written by Camille Trudel) and À DEMI-SOUPIR (cowritten with Claude Brie).
