Biography

Matteo Mobrici is a singer-songwriter and lives in Milan. Born as a drummer, he soon switched to writing songs with a guitar in his hand at the age of 14. He was the frontman of the band Canova, a cult band on the Italian indie pop scene, which broke up in 2020. Always a free spirit, self-ironic and incurable romantic, sensitive to ecological issues, Mobrici is a multifaceted singer-songwriter always on the edge between songwriting and pop. His stories are minimal tales of great love, without frills and so evocative, so autobiographical as to belong to everyone.

In February 2021 he opens the way to his new songwriting path with some new songs published by Maciste Dischi/Virgin Records/Universal Music Italia: "20 100", "TVB", "LA FINE" and "SCENDE" feat. Gazzelle, the last single published, which sees the collaboration with a great friend, before being a colleague.
