The 48th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival, the film festival for young people scheduled for July 20^th to 28^th, was presented yesterday. One hundred works, of which 11 Italian, for 8 competitions, more than 5,000 jurors from 52 countries, and also marathons and film screenings, more than 200 free events, 250,000 people expected: the Giffoni Festival is now an event of global importance, unique in its kind that everyone envies us and that over the years, through the Giffoni Experience has been able to renew itself and accept new challenges.

Thanks to the whole organization, in the first place to Claudio Gubitosi, who has always believed in this project. The Campania Region confirms, rather, re-launches its economic commitment to support this important initiative, for the festival and for the development of the Multimedia Valley.

Giffoni is a fundamental element in the program of cultural and tourist development that we are carrying out in our region. From the Ravello Festival to Un’estate da Re in Caserta, from the Teatro Festival Italia in Naples, to the “archaeo-trains” to promote Pompeii and Paestum, the Cuma Express to visit the Phlegraean Fields and many other initiatives for the internal areas: we have a culture and tourism offer of absolute quality that puts us at the top in Italy and which we can be proud of.
