Despicable Me 3: The Gff 2017 Goes Yellow For The National Preview

Giffoni Cittadella went all yellow to welcome the Minions’ comeback to the festival’s 47th edition and  make an ideal backdrop for a despicable day. The amazing team of villains turned good conquered both children and grown-ups, in a climate of great anticipation for the forthcoming special event dedicated to the Giffoners: the lively national preview of “Despicable me 3”, in collaboration with Universal Picture International Italy.

A burst of colour, wild dancing and lots of selfies brightened up the traditional blue carpet, where Gru and the Minions were joined by Max Giusti, Arisa and Paolo Ruffini, the Italian “voices” of the latest chapter of the Illumination Entertainment franchise, which is set to hit Italian theatres starting 24 August 2017 distributed by Universal Pictures.

The Cittadella was literally invaded by the animated saga’s famous yellow critters. “I’d love to acquire citizenship here. I always feel amazingly welcomed here and find youths who really want to talk about cinema – highlighted enthusiastically Paolo Ruffini -. Giffoni is the essence of cinema. Sometimes, this industry is made of boring snobbish people but Giffoni is a kind of ‘cinema juice’. Just like when you extrapolate juice from fruit, this Festival extrapolates the best from cinema, that is the future”. Ruffini, who came to the GFF for his second time, renewed his love for the Festival and spread it all around with his showbiz talent.
