It’s a “Despicable Day” at the Giffoni Film Festival: Gru and the irresistible Minions are coming back to the Cittadella

The sweetest and most adorable team of redeemed villains in the world of animation are ready to come back to Giffoni to present their latest and hilarious missions impossible. Today at the Cittadella del Cinema – for the occasion decorated with Minions, balloons and giant posters of the film’s protagonists,  is on schedule a very special event: the Despicable Day.

The new chapter of “Despicable Me 3”,  featuring former villain Gru and his Lucy with their adorable little girls (Margo, Edith  Agnes) and obviously their loyal Minions, is in fact set to première in Italy tonight, at the Giffoni Film Festival, as the first of 5 special events dedicated to the Giffoners, made possible thanks to a collaboration with the greatest Italian and international majors that every year choose the Festival to première their latest films.

Young and old fans are far beyond excitement for the return of the irresistible little yellow critters, that surrounded the Giffoners with their energy in 2010 for the national preview of the animated saga’s first chapter. They also came back in 2015, hitting the blue carpet in the Cittadella to present the preview teaser of the spin-off “Minions”. The latest chapter of the successful saga will be presented by three talented artists who have already won Giffoni audience and jurors’ hearts: Italian voice-overs Max Giusti (Gru/Dru), Arisa (Lucy) and Paolo Ruffini (Balthasar Bratt). The preview will make us find out the surprises the team have in store for us following the already successful animated films “Despicable Me” (2010), “Despicable Me 2” (2013) and “Minions” (2015).
