He had already been here in 2012 as an actor in the film “Il sole dentro” by Paolo Bianchini. Diego Bianchi comes back to Giffoni after an extraordinary season of the Italian talk show Propaganda Live.

Giffoni Film Festival celebrates its 50th birthday together with COMICON and Feltrinelli Comics by announcing Un sogno chiamato Giffoni (A Dream Called Giffoni), a graphic novel written by Tito Faraci (editor for Feltrinelli Comics, screenwriter of Mickey Mouse, Tex, Diabolik, Dylan Dog) and drawn by Walter “Wallie” Petrone (author of Croce sul cuore and Sporchi e subito), available since August. Roberto Policastro, creative director of Comicon, also joined Faraci and Wallie in the meeting. 
She is the first woman to win the World Championship of motorcycle racing. Nonetheless, Ana Carrasco, a 23 year-old Spanish woman, asked the giffoners of Giffoni Impact to be considered “just as a pilot, without specifying her gender”.
Richard Gere will be one of the stars of Giffoni Film Festival’s 50+ edition. The American actor, producer, and Golden Globe-winner, greeted the giffoners during a live-streamed meeting in which participated also the other Giffoni hubs all over the world.

Immigration, antagonism and ethnicities, aspirations for the future, loves and drugs. Stories of young women whose lives are about to change forever, but also a tale of a father risking to lose his children and, on the other hand, a mother who wants to reestablish her relationship with her daughter are the main themes of the films in competition today.
