November 11dear diary, we are Giuliana and Claire. How are you? We are well and are in the bus to Roma where we will get on a flight to Dubai and from there to Teheran. We are very happy and excited to go on thi journey. At the beginning we were a little on the fence but Giusi and Natascia assured us that it would be a wonderful experience and so decided to do it!

In a bit we will get on the flight to Teheran. We can't wait! dear diary, we have arived. The hotel is beautiful! there's a swimming pool and a shopping centre and the restaurant is top notch! We are going to bed now. We are so tired!

dear diary we went to the cinema today (which looks more like a theatre) and we saw some of the feature films and short in competition. yesterday we forgot to tell you that we saw the first film in competition and it wasn't bad. What we noticed immediately is the difference between the European films and the Iranian films. Today we met many other jurors including a very cool Spanish girl,Jimena. A wonderful day indeed. But we are tired now so we are going to bed!

dear diary today we saw four films! We are tired! Fortunately the films were good otherwise we would have fallen asleep! We also met a guy called David and a gil called Sara, they are both very cool! We didn't have much time to eat so we just grabbed something at a fast food a very cute place! This is shaping up to be a very interesting week!

Oh wow, days fly by here dear diary! We are going to Isfahan today. WE had a very warm welcome at the airport with children dancing and singing for us on a red carpet! The bus drove us to the wonderful ABBASI HOTEL***** which is even bigger than the other. There is a spectacular gaden in the hotel, we don't have words to describe it! After lunch we went to the cinema to see the last two films. They were good. We are ready to go to bed!

November 16
Dear diary as the festival wrapped up we went to visit the mosque and the bazar. Incredible!
After lunch we went to a museum, which was very interesting. Unfortunately there was no time for shopping but we will definitely go tommorrow! We are not very tired but we have to go to bed. It will be another eventful day tommorrow!

November 17
Back to the Bazar for some shopping. It was huge so we remained glued to Giusi and paid attention to the guide.
Once we had bought all we had to buy we went back to the hotel and took a nap. Then we went to an award ceremony which was in Farsi so we didn't understand much. Then we discussed and voted for the films. We are very committed jurors. Everything is great but also tiring!

Dear diary today was an eventful day. In the morning we visited the Isfahan bridge, so beautiful and ancient. We then visited an odd mausoleum which seemd a little unstable. After that we visited our hotel which is the oldest hotel in Iran! We then went to the award ceremony and were even called on the stage! It was very exciting! When we got back to the hotel we said goodbye to Jimena,Sara,David, and the other jurors. We will miss them much but will also cheriish the memoried of these days together! Nighttime as we are leaving at 3 in the moning!

Dear diary our journey is almost over and we will soon land in Italy. We are happy and sad at the same time..
We have learned a lot and have many stories to tell. It was a beautiful week and we must thank thel GFF for giving us this opportunity, and Giusi, who, even if older than us understands our needs and was great! The airplane is landing, see you next time!
