Giffoni Albania thanks the Festival: "Our first bridge towards Italy and Europe"

Today was Giffoni Albania Day, event characterised by the presence of the Giffoni Albania delegation in the Cittadella del Cinema in Giffoni Valle Piana. The highly impressed delegates, in representation of the 10th Albanian edition of the festival, were also guests at Radio Giffoni, the festival’s official radio that interviewed: film director and Director of the Tirana International Film Festival Niko Ajazi; Director of the Albanian National Center of Cinematography Jlir Butka who visited the Giffoni Film Festival for the first time, and actor, film director as well as professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana Alfred Trebicka.

“We have been collaborating with Giffoni since the ‘80s, when the Albanian political situation was still very difficult – affirmed Giffoni Albania director Ajazi – Giffoni has been Albania’s very first bridge towards Italy and Europe and it has given us the chance to enter the world of international festivals. Our collaboration with director Claudio Gubitosi has always been very important to us. We’re grateful to Italy and to Giffoni”.
