It’s the turn of Evan Peters today at Giffoni 2019. Worldwide acknowledged for his character as mutant Quicksilver in “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, the actor has already played the same role in “X-Men: Apocalypse” (2016) and he will be back in Quicksilver’s shoes with the upcoming release of long awaited “X-Men – Dark Phoenix" (2019). Thanks to X-Men, Peter has had the chance to star alongside with Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender e Jennifer Lawrence. Last but not the least, he will soon be on the set of “I Am Woman” with film director Unjoo Moon.
Evan Peters will be today’s undisputed protagonist at Giffoni. After hitting the Blu Carpet of the Cittadella del Cinema, Evan Peters will meet the jurors at 17:00 in Sala Truffaut, where he will be handed the GIFFONI EXPERIENCE AWARD.
Evan Peters was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1987: he was only 15 when he moved to Los Angeles with his mother to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. His first appearance in film was in 2004, in "Clipping Adam". In 2010, he took part in the film "Kick-Ass". In 2011, he was cast in "American Horror Story" as the controversial character of Tate Langdon, a teenager in treatment for his psychopathic disorders. Three years later he played the role of the mutant Quicksilver in "X-Men: Days of Future Past": he was back on set with this role also for "X-Men: Apocalypse" (2016) and "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" (2019). In 2018, he joined the cast of the TV series "Pose".
