Sinossi
Nel nuovo film della Sony Pictures Animation, Dracula decide di concedersi una crociera con la famiglia e prendersi finalmente una pausa estiva. Il resto del gruppo si unisce a loro e, a bordo della crociera, i mostri si divertono moltissimo e partecipano a tutte le attività e le attrazioni di bordo: dalla pallavolo per mostri e i colossali buffet, alle insolite escursioni. Ma la vacanza da sogno si trasforma in incubo quando Mavis scopre che Drac si è innamorato di Ericka, misterioso capitano della nave, che nasconde un pericoloso segreto che potrebbe distruggere la razza dei mostri.

Tartakovsky was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. His family first moved to Italy before coming to the United States. After high school, Genndy studied film at Chicago's Columbia College before moving to Los Angeles to study animation at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
Working as producer and director on Cartoon Network he developed acclaimed series such as: THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, DEXTER'S LABORATORY, SAMURAI JACK, SYM-BIONIC TITAN. Tartakovsky was also hand-selected by George Lucas and Lucasfilm Ltd. in 2003 to create STAR WARS: CLONE WARS.
Tartakovsky made his feature film directorial debut in 2012 with HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Golden Globe nominated. He also directed HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 (2015), the short film PUPPY! (2017) and HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION.
A 20-year veteran of the art, Tartakovsky has received an impressive 15 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and been awarded three Emmys for work on the series STAR WARS: CLONE WARS and SAMURAI JACK. He also won the Winsor McCay Award in recognition for outstanding career contributions to the art of animation.
