Stephen Chbosky
Born 1970, Pittsburgh (USA). In 1992 he graduated from the University of Southern California’s screenwriting program. In 1995 he directed his first feature film, THE FOUR CORNERS OF NOWHERE, which was screened at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2005 he wrote the screenplay for RENT, a musical directed by Chris Columbus. He has been an author for the TV series JERICHO. In 1999 he released his first novel, THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER, which inspired the homonymous feature.
