Synopsis
In the Witches’ Wood, the wizard Quark finds an egg that produces a mini-girl whom he names Fuchsia. She wants to learn to do magic just like her newfound father and so she goes to mini-witches’ school. The school is run by Miss Minuul, a witch who has had an eye on Quark for more than fifty years. At the school Fuchsia learns to make wind and conjure with the clouds, but often she causes havoc in the Witches’ Wood, mainly because she is very curious about the human world. A world Quark wants nothing to do with, because: People Are Dangerous. But when Fuchsia sees a boy named Tommy in the woods, her curiosity gets the better of her. She forgets Quark’s warnings and goes to see Tommy in the humans’ town. There she finds out that Tommy’s uncle, Roger, wants to tear down the Witches’ Wood to build a motorway. Together, Fuchsia and Tommy have to save the Witches’ Wood.
Sinossi
Nel bosco delle streghe, il mago Quark trova un uovo da cui nasce una bambina in miniatura che decide di chiamare Fuchsia. Ansiosa di imparare a usare la magia come papà Quark, Fuchsia entra nella scuola per piccole streghe diretta da Miss Minuul, una strega innamorata di Quark da più di 50 anni. A scuola, Fuchsia impara a seminare il vento e a evocare le nuvole, ma spesso provoca scompiglio nel bosco, soprattutto perché è incuriosita dal mondo degli uomini, con il quale Quark non vuole avere contatti, perché pensa che gli uomini siano pericolosi. Ma la curiosità ha il sopravvento quando Fuchsia incontra nel bosco un bambino di nome Tommy. Dimenticando le raccomandazioni di Quark, Fuchsia segue Tommy nel mondo degli uomini, e scopre che Roger, lo zio del bambino, vuole distruggere il bosco per costruirvi un’autostrada. Insieme, Fuchsia e Tommy dovranno salvare il bosco delle streghe.
