Roberto Zazzara
Roberto Zazzara is a photographer, video artist, writer, director. After graduating in Filmology at the Sapienza University of Rome, in 2006 he was selected by the Experimental Cinema Centre of Milan for the first course of Director of documentaries and advertising. During the course he produced various works including the short film ICE-CREAM DREAM and the documentary film WALKING ALONG (co-directed with Enrica Andreetto) that won the first prize at the Festival of Bellaria 2008. Since then he lives and works in Milan and Rome, making commissioned works for MTV, Rai, Mediaset, as well as independent productions. From 2008 he works with the Experimental Film Centre of Rome as a director and teacher. In 2009 he made his debut as a stage director with a multimedia show MISS ELSE. Also in 2009 he produced two short films: RED IN THE WOODS, thriller commissioned by Sky Movies, and A SIMPLE STORY, the first project produced by the film company he founded. In 2010 he made the documentary film LIONESS - PIONEER OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IN MILAN AND LOMBARDY, for the Chamber of Commerce of Milan and won, with his group, the selection NCN Lab 2010. The award allowed him to make the short film EMPTY SHOT, selected to the prestigious Italian award Silver Ribbons 2011. He is currently developing several projects of the documentary, film, theater and video art.
Roberto Zazzara
Roberto Zazzara è fotografo, videoartista, sceneggiatore, regista. Dopo la Laurea in Filmologia presso L’Università “La Sapienza” di Roma, nel 2006 viene selezionato dal Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Milano per il primo corso di Regia di pubblicità e documentari. Durante il corso, realizza varie opere, tra cui il cortometraggio ICE-CREAM DREAM e il documentario A PIEDI SUL FILO, in co-regia con Enrica Andreetto, vincitore del primo premio CortoDOC al Festival di Bellaria 2008. Da allora vive e lavora tra Milano e Roma, realizzando opere su commissione, per Mtv, Rai, Mediaset, ma anche produzioni indipendenti. Dal 2008 collabora con il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma in qualità di regista e docente. Nel 2009 debutta come regista teatrale con lo spettacolo multimediale LA SIGNORINA ELSE. Ancora nel 2009 gira i cortometraggi ROSSO NEL BOSCO, thriller commissionato da Sky Cinema, e UNA STORIA SEMPLICE, prima opera prodotta dalla Compagnia Cinematografica, da lui stesso fondata sempre nel 2009. Nel 2010 realizza il documentario LEONESSE - PIONIERE DELL’IMPRENDITORIA FEMMINILE A MILANO E IN LOMBARDIA, per la Camera di Commercio di Milano, e vince, con il suo gruppo, la selezione NCN Lab 2010. Il premio gli consente di realizzare il cortometraggio TIRO A VUOTO, selezionato ai Nastri d’Argento 2011. Attualmente sta sviluppando diversi progetti in ambito documentaristico, cinematografico, teatrale e di video arte.
