Synopsis
The sad story of the Black Dog is told with a series of flipbooks. The scene grows denser as looped scenes accumulate and the narrative develops.

Stephen Irwin
Stephen is a graduate of Central St. Martins College of Art & Design. He received the Best Emerging Talent award in 2005 from Emergeandsee Film Festival for his graduation film, DIALOG. Since then he has received commissions from the UK Film Council & Film London, BBC New Talent and Animate Projects (Channel 4 / Arts Council England). In 2008 he was shortlisted for a British Animation Award for his music video for Lightspeed Champion (produced by Warp Films). THE BLACK DOG’S PROGRESS was screened on Channel 4 in September 2008 as part of Animate TV, and his work as been shown at film festivals world-wide.
Stephen Irwin
Stephen si è diplomato al Central St. Martins College di Arte e Design. Nel 2005 riceve al Emergeandsee Film Festival il premio come miglior talento emergente per il suo film di diploma DIALOG. Da allora ha lavorato per UK Film Council & Film e BBC (Channel 4 / Arts Council England). Nel 2008 riceve una nomination per il British Animation Award per il video musicale LIGHTSPEED CHAMPION (prodotto dalla Warp Films). THE BLACK DOG’S PROGRESS è stato trasmesso da Channel 4 nel 2008 nella programmazione di Animate TV e, come altri lavori di Stephen, presentato in diversi festival internazionali.
