Director’s statement
“Bullying is still a current topic we all are confronted with at some point. Three main groups play a role: the bullies, the kids that suffer, and the ones that see it but don’t dare to do something about it. REGRET! deals about a possible fourth group: those that dare to take a stand and help their bullied classmates. That’s why I wanted to make REGRET!. It’s important to stand up, and be aware of the possible consequences if you don’t. After reading the book and the screenplay I knew for sure: REGRET! must be filmed, and I’m glad I did”.
