Biography
Born in Milan in 1993 Ernia, since he was twelve, moved in the hip hop underground circles of the city, becoming known for his freestyler skills and taking part to Bonola Fam and Razzza a Parte projects.
In 2007 he released his first demo, with 7 songs and many featurings. At year-end 2010 he founded the group Troupe d'Elite together with Ghali and Maite, and with them released three singles for web, drawing attention of dj Harsh and Guè Pequeno. In 2012, his band sign a contract with the indipendent label Tanta Roba, and a cooperation agreement with Sony Music Italia.
In June of the same year, the band released an Ep titled "Troupe d'Elite", in collaboration with Don Joe as a producer. Waiting for the EP release, in September 2013 Ernia released a solo mixtape with 7 song, mixed by Charlie Charles.
In May 2014, after ended his cooperation with Tanta Roba, the band release an LP called "Il mio giorno preferito", preceded by "Maria" videoclip, in collaboration with Gue Pequeno. In the autumn, Troupe d'Elite disbanded, and Ernia left for London, in which he lived since April 2015. In February 2016 he published the EP named "No Hooks", a particularly successful musical project.
In 2017, after the singles "Qt" and "Feeling", Ernia release the EP "Come uccidere un usignolo" (Thaurus/Universal). After doing this, he became one of the most extraordinary musical talents of the new Italian hip hop music.
In November 2017 he released the repack "Come uccidere un usignolo/67", with which join in top 5 FIMI best-selling albums chart, and certified Gold. In September 2018 comes out "68", his first album with Island Records (Universal Music Italia), joining at first place in the FIMI best-selling albums chart.
After his successful Winter tour, Ernia is once again with the release of "68 TILL THE END", a double-cd with unreleased tracks, available from 5th April 2019. Starting with June 2019, Ernia was on stage throughout the summer in festivals, summer arenas and clubs of the main Italian cities.
