Biography

Actor, comedian, imitator, dubber, radio and TV host, Max Giusti is the perfect showman. Massimiliano Giusti, born in 1968, made his TV debut in "Stasera mi butto" (1991). In 2000 he joined the cast of "Quelli che il calcio", where he became known to the general public thanks to his unforgettable parodies of Malgioglio, Ricucci, Biscardi, Lotito. After eight years he moved to Rai1, when he hosted for five years the game show "Affari tuoi", then co-hosted with Fabrizio Frizzi "Attenti a quei 2" and he was the main comedian in primetime show "Riusciranno i nostri eroi". In 2016 he hosted on Nove channel (Discovery) the prime time game show "Boom!".
He acts also in TV series: he plays marshal Mollica in Rai1 "Raccontami" and, for three seasons, he plays the inspector Marchetti in "Distretto di Polizia" (Canale5).
He pursues also a profitable theatrical career: with Pietro Garinei he was the leading actor in the comedies "Aggiungi un posto a tavola" and "Se il tempo fosse un gambero". With his one-man-show he performed on most important Italian stages, such as Palalottomatica and Centrale del Foro Italico. Since 2018 he is in tour with his show “Va tutto bene”.
In 2010 he hosts on Rai Radio2 "Radio2 SuperMax", with a record audience before moving to Rai2. In 2015 Max won the Cuffie d'oro award as "Radio Host of the Year". Thanks to his radio parodies he moved to "Quelli che il calcio", and to "Dopo Festival di Sanremo" (2016).
Max Giusti dubbed Gru, the main character of the animation movie "Despicable Me", distributed by Universal Pictures. He dubbed this character also in the movie sequels.
He played in Carlo Vanzina's movies "E adesso sesso" and "Le barzellette" and in Federico Zampaglione's "Nero Bifamiliare". Then he played a dramatic role in "La Fiamma sul ghiaccio", directed by Umberto Marino. In 2019, he played the main character in "Appena un minuto", directed by Francesco Mandelli. Together with Marco Mazzocchi, he participated in Pechino Express, a prime time Rai2 TV show.
