Biography

Emanuele Caso, aka Random, born in 2001, is one of the youngest and most interesting songwriters of the new generation in the urban pop music scene. Thanks to his attentive and sensitive personality, his music is always characterised by deep lyrics and the narration of themes and problems of everyday life, typical of his generation.

Random's producer Zenit has been by his side since the very beginning, the right person to enhance his creativity and talent. A complementary artistic relationship was born between the two, from which, in 2018, the debut album "Giovane Oro" came to life. In 2019, the hit "Chiasso" brings Random to the podium of the charts, dominating Spotify's Top Viral and making him reach 3 platinum records and over 90 million streams on all digital platforms. In October 2019, the platinum-certified single "Rossetto" was released, achieving great success on social networks and over 35 million streams on all digital platforms.

2020 marked a series of other successes:

- In January Random released the third single "Scusa a a a" and the video clip entered the top #trends on YouTube;

- In March, the single "Marionette" feat. Carl Brave reached a million streams in less than a month;

- In May he's among the protagonists of "Amici Speciali - con Tim insieme per l'Italia", a special version of Maria De Filippi's programme during which Random presents the single "Sono un bravo ragazzo un po' fuori di testa", which reaches over 50 million streams on all digital platforms. The song conquered the radio charts, was certified double platinum and the video clip, in its first week, entered the top 3 of the #trends on YouTube. 

- In June, the Gold-certified EP "Montagne Russe" (Visory Records - under exclusive license to Believe) was released, remaining in the top 10 of the FIMI/GfK Italy album charts for six weeks and in the top 15 to 15 weeks in a row;

- In December, he releases the single "Sono Luce", produced by Shablo and Zenit, available as part of the collection "Montagne Russe (Extended)", which contains, in addition to the tracks from the first edition, the singles "Nudi Nel Letto" and "Ritornerai 2"; 

- He was nominated for Best Italian Act at the MTV EMA2020.

Random is one of the 26 Champions competing at the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival (March 2021) with the song "Torno a Te". On the 2nd of April 2021 he released his new album "Nuvole" and on the 25th of June he released his new single "Siamo di un Altro Pianeta".
