Biography

VIITO is the encounter between Giuseppe and Vito, roommates from off- site, Roman by adoption. A cohabitation that has given rise to many songs of a communicative strength that has not gone unnoticed and a pen in perfect balance between art songwriting and new Italian pop. Their debut album "Troppoforte" (Sugar) has won over audiences and critics with over 26 million streams on Spotify thanks to the success of songs like "Bella come Roma", "Industria Porno", "Lisbona" and dozens of sing-along concerts in the most important Italian clubs and festivals. The single "Tempi migliori" was chosen as the main theme for the soundtrack of the film "La prima pietra", directed by Rolando Ravello and starring Valerio Aprea, Iaia Forte, Corrado Guzzanti, Lucia Mascino, Kasia Smutniak, Serra Yılmaz. 

In 2020 during the height of the pandemic, Viito released two new songs entitled "Benzina", produced by Francesco Catitti, and "Luci blu e sirene", produced by Dade, and are currently working in the recording studio on their next record project.
