Biography
She made her debut when she was very young in the tv movie "Colomba" (1982) directed by Giacomo Battiato. In 1985, she made her debut in cinema directed by Damiano Damiani with "Pizza Connection", where she had her first leading role. After participating in the first season of "La Piovra" (1984), she played the role of Ester Rasi in "La Piovra 4" (1989) directed by Luigi Perelli. In 1994, she was present in the Cannes Festival with "Il sogno della farfalla", directed by Marco Bellocchio. In 1998 she was in theater with the shows: "Domani notte a mezzanotte qui", "Perpetua Song" and "Nella città l'inferno". The following year she returned to the big screen with "Amor nello specchio", directed by Salvatore Maira. In 2000, she was one of the protagonists of the successful TV miniseries, broadcast on Rai 2, "Sospetti", directed by Luigi Perelli.
Among many other TV dramas in which she worked: "La caccia" and "I figli strappati" (both of 2005), directed by Massimo Spano for Rai Uno, "La buona battaglia - Don Pietro Pappagallo" (2006) directed by Gianfranco Albano. In 2007, she returned to television with the miniseries "Il capo dei capi", broadcast on Canale 5, and in 2009 she was the protagonist, again for Canale 5, of the miniseries "Squadra antimafia - Palermo oggi", with Claudio Gioè and Giulia Michelini. She continued to be the female protagonist of "Squadra Antimafia" on channel 5 for another four seasons. In 2014 we saw her in the TV series "Le mani dentro la città", with Giuseppe Zeno. In 2018 she plays the mother of Giovanni Falcone as a child in a short film by Vito Palumbo, produced by Rai Cinema "U Muschittiri", premiering in September. In the 2018/19 season she will be in theaters alongside Ettore Bassi, in the play "Amami Ancora", directed by Stefano Artissunch.
