Fabio Guaglione, Fabio Resinaro
Fabio Guaglione (1981) and Fabio Resinaro (1980) met at school. They both shared a passion for comics, writing, music and communication, thus they went on to work on several projects together. Self taught, in 2001 they made a short film TI CHIAMO IO, which won the Film Race Contest organized by MediaFilm and was distributed domestically by Medusa Home Entertainment in DVD. In 2004 they made sci-fi short E:D:E:N, which was multi-awarded by various Festivals. Later, they worked on a medium length sci-fi, with Sky Italia, called THE SILVER ROPE, which was garnered international attention. Since 2006 they have been making advertisements for various companies such as De Agostini alongside new videoclips for Sony and Emi. In 2008 their short AFTERVILLE won various important international awards. They then went on to work and develop projects supported by some American Majors and directed commercials for brands like BioNike (2010) and Danone (2010), a music videoclip for the TheFilmakers, called "Taken" (2010), and corporate for Gucci (2010). In 2009 they founded their own company: Mercurio Domina, which produced the short MYSHOES (2011), in which Fabio&Fabio are the creative producers. In the two year span 2010-2011 Mercurio Domina also produced the feature length film TRUE LOVE, a psychological thriller with sci-fi nuances. Guaglione and Resina wrote the screenplay and were executive and creative producers of the projects. MINE, was written and directed by the creative duo, completed in 2016 and sold worldwide.
