Bachir Abou Zeid
Bachir was born in 1991, in Beirut – Lebanon. He finished his undergraduate studies in the Lebanese International University and received a Bachelor Degree in Communication Arts - Translation and Interpretation. Director and writer, ha directed two short films during his undergraduate studies. In 2014, Bachir wrote & directed his first feature film entitle MAFKOUD produced by Aya Al Blouchi- Seat 26 Productions. The film is currently in post-production. In the same year, he participated in the 48 hour film project, where his film SOLDIER 888 won the first prize in Lebanon, receiving 8 awards including Best Film and Best Directing. While working on his first feature, Bachir was awarded a full scholarship to pursue his graduate studies in Met Film School London, and graduated in October 2015 with an MA Degree in Directing. KALASH is his graduation film.
