Synopsis
This is the moving story between Lukas, a lonely child who lives with his father, and baby eagle Abel. Their friendship starts on the day Abel is cast away from the nest by his stronger sibling. Lukas who is searching for a friend finds Abel. Form this moment  they will grow up together finding their own way to life.

In 2005, after a long career spent making documentaries, Olivares decides to test himself by making feature films and  directs his first  film The Great Match  with the support of Mara Morales (Wanda Films). The movie is set in Mongolia, Sahara and Brazil. The film receives international recognition winning many awards and is selected for the Berlin International Film Festival. The film then participates to the Copenhagen International Film Festival, the Galway Film Fleadh, the World Cinema Festival, Cape Town and the Desert Nights Film Fest in Rome. The film also receives a nomination for Best Film at the Malaga Spanish Film Festival. In 2006, Olivares  writes and directs 4kilómetros, about African immigration for which he wins over 15 awards, confirming his achievements as a committed director within the Spanish film industry. In 2010 he directs Among Wolves, which is an adaptation of Marcos Rodríguez Pantoja's novel which is a 2010 box office hit with more than half a million spectators. The film is about a young shepherd who lives in isolation in the mountains who ends up becoming the leader of a pack of wolves.

Otmar Penker1Otmar Penker
Otmar Penker is an Australian origin filmmaker and a director of photography specialized in the animal kingdom and shootings in the Alps. Penker has been working alongside hunters, biologists and gamekeepers for years in order to learn and develop the best techniques for filming the alps and its creatures. Penker has made various documentaries including PRINCE OF THE ALPS, which has received over 15 international awards and MAGIC OF THE MOUNTAINS, which won the Best Documentary of the year Award at the Sestriere Film Festival in 2011. His first project revolving around a royal eagle dates back to 2004. It was later turned into a film called Brothers of the Wind.
