Sana Al Ansari
Sana Al-Ansari was 17 years old and was a student attending Raba’a Al Adawiya Girls Secondary School in Doha, Qatar, when she made her first film. She actually got the idea for the film after reviewing Regret by Dave Schram at Ajyal Film Festival in Doha, Qatar, in the Fall of 2013. She realized then that film can impact people’s lives and make a difference in the way people think about things. Sana’s film won Best National Picture at Northwestern’s Thimun Film Festival in April, 2015. Sana has been accepted to Northwestern University in the Fall and plans to study Communications.
