Maria Rosaria Omaggio
Maria Rosaria Omaggio is an Italian actress who became famous at a very young age starring in cinema (in Italy and Abroad) on stage and on TV shows. The main films she has played in are: GUIDO ROSSA, ROMA A MANO ARMATA, SQUADRA ANTISCIPPO, LA LOZANA ANDALUSA, CULO E CAMICIA, ERA UNA NOTTE BUIA E TEMPESTOSA, RIMINI RIMINI L'ANNO DOPO, II GENERALE, INCUBO SULLA CITTÀ, WALESA. While on TV she starred in: A FARI SPENTI NELLA NOTTE, DON MATTEO, RACCONTI FANTASTICI, SARTO PER SIGNORA, STELLE IN FIAMME, MICAELA, CARO MAESTRO 2, LEO E BEO, UNA DONNA PER AMICO, DONNE DI MAFIA, LA SQUADRA. On Stage she has worked in classics and contemporary plays and was directed by Luigi Magni (La Santa sulla scopa) and Mario Scaccia (Il Segno di Jacopone).  She is also the creator of the Il Teatro per l’Unicef/Theatre for Unicef  project with ten authors (Maraini, La Capria, Camilleri, Merini, Bevilacqua, Comencini, Tani, Erba, Cavosi e Franceschi) who wrote for kids. She has also written shows combining music and script. An example of the aforementioned isChiamalavita(2005), which is about was based on a writing by Calvino and UNICEF footage. The show was made into a CD and thanks to its proceedings 2350 Iraqui chidren were helped. For her committment in social causes, Maria Rosaria Omaggio has become Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.
