Carlos Andre Stevens
Writer and director, Carlos was born in Berkeley California in 1982. As a film student in college, he naturally gravitated towards design, illustration and animation to tell his stories. In the spring of 2009 he was hired by acclaimed design and animation studio Superfad in Seattle Washington where he creative directed a handful of prominent, award-winning advertising campaigns for Sprint, Sony, and Voila. Carlos is a former Student Academy Awards finalist for his animated short film TOUMAI as well as an award-winning director for his commercial work. In 2011 he was asked by west coast based design powerhouse Logan to move to New York City and open their new east coast office as director/creative director. In 2013 Laika Animation Studios (“Coraline” “Paranorman” “The Box Trolls”) brought Carlos back to Portland Oregon. He currently resides in Portland Oregon and directs at Laika/house spinoff Housespecial.
