Peggy Holmes

She is a choreographer, dancer, screenwriter and director. She began her choreography career working for such renowned choreographers as Kenny Ortega and Michael Peters, assisting them on feature films, TV and stage productions. In 1989 she received her first solo choreography opportunity on the feature THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS. In 1992 she worked on Disney’s musical feature NEWSIES as choreographer and assistant to the director Kenny Ortega. She was also assistant director of Ortega on Michael Jackson’s 1992 and 1996 tours. In 2008 she made her first animated feature as a director, THE LITTLE MERMAID: ARIEL’S BEGINNING, followed by SECRET OF THE WINGS (co-directed along with Bobs Gannaway), and THE PIRATE FAIRY.
