Lotta Geffenblad

Born 1962 in Lund, Sweden. She moved to Stockholm in 1982 to study design. Lotta is married to Uzi Geffenblad and has 2 kids. She has since 1985 mainly worked with animation, often in collaboration with other artists and animators. Her work with Uzi has resulted in the shorts APRIKOSER and BLAND TISTLAR. The films have won several international prizes. She lectures about cut-out technique and works as an illustrator in magazines. She also has her own comic page in magazine MåBra. She has made several children's books that have been published in, among other countries, Japan and South Korea.

Uzi Geffenblad

Born 1964 in Israel. He worked as a professional horn player before moving to Sweden in 1986. The first years in Sweden Uzi worked as a street musician, bars pianist and even with cleaning. He began studying Swedish and later on psychology and children's culture at the Stockholm University. Since 1988 he's worked with films and since 1991 mainly in animation. Uzi's first work in film was as composer and musician and then moved on to screenwriting and editing. Eventually he started working as a director/producer. 1998-2001 Uzi was Chairman of FFAF (The Swedish Association for Animated Films), and is now lecturing about screenwriting, and production of animation films at various schools. Since 2002 Uzi has produced the 46 minute animation film BLAND TISTLAR, the short films NÄR VI DÖR, by Håkan Wennström, KAKAN by Pia Holmqvist, the animated documentary TILLVÄXTSJUKAN by Klara Swantesson and the short ASTONS STENAR.
