Sonia Gerbeaud, Mathias Panafieu

Sonia Gerbeaud (born in Annecy in 1984) and Mathias Panafieu (born in Paris in 1986) met at Poitiers Fine Arts School. There they explored animation film along with illustration, photography, sculpture and serigraphy. Once they got their diplomas, they went backpacking around the world, filling their heads and sketchbooks with pictures. On the road, they began writing their very first short movie and, back in France, directed FADED FINERY, a four hands and a few thousand drawings animated film.
