A monster dreams of being a cabaret singer. Bendik helps the Monster follow its dreams, while the Monster helps Bendik with his relationship with his mom and her boyfriend.

bendik-regFrank Mosvold

Frank was born in 1965. He studied film, and completed his master of Fine Arts in Film Production at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, after first completing a Bachelor in economics at Babson College, Boston, and working four years as a shipping/charting broker in New York and London. He has since written, directed and produced numerous short films and television programs. His short films include C-L-O-S-E-R (1997), A KISS IN THE SNOW (1998), WAVES (1999), HOME FOR CHRISTMAS (2000), SLOTH (2000), SUMMER BLUES (2002), CHRISTOPHER & GORDY (2004), THE HOMOLULU SHOW (2004), LONELY 15 (2004). In 1996 he founded his own production company, KOOL Produktion AS, and produced a variety of different feature and short films, as well as television series, until 2004 when the company ventured into animation, and shifted its focus to producing content solely for children.

 

Atle S. Blakseth

Atle S. Blakseth (b. 1977) studied animation at Volda University College, and has worked as a designer, modeler, animator and director in the Norwegian film and animation industry since 2002. He has, amongst others, contributed to such films as PLODDY THE POLICE CAR (2002), FREE JIMMY(2006), ELIAS AND THE ROYAL YACHT (BOTH FEATURE AND TV SERIES, 2007), KURT TURNS EVIL (2008) AND TROLLHUNTER (2010), in addition to numerous commercials. Blakseth has also given lectures at the creative arts private college Idéfagskolen (2006), and at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2007). He made his debut as a director with the animated comedy short FISHING WITH SAM in 2009. The film has been screened at over 45 international festivals, and has received several awards, including Best Short Film in the Elements+6 section at the Giffoni Film Festival in 2009.
