Synopsis
Michele, 14 years old, goes around dancing like his idol, Michael Jackson. When his father, a worker at Ilva factory, tells him that he can’t take him to an audition, due to a mobilization of the factory, Michele’s world is falling to pieces. The dream of a young boy, however, can be stronger than the difficulties of adults.

Giuseppe Marco Albano
Born in Cisternino (Apulia) in 1985, Giuseppe is a writer, screenwriter and director. After a year at the International Academy for Arts and Image Sciences of L’Aquila, he enrolled at the University of Parma, Faculty of Humanities. He then worked as an assistant director on several sets and in 2008 he founded, together with other friends and associates the cultural association "Basiliciak." The short film THE HAT, which he directed and co-written with Carla Marcialis, is presented at several international festivals (including the Giffoni Film Festival 2009) and was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2009 for Best Italian Short Film.
