Federico Di Cicilia
Born 1973, Avellino (Italy). In 1996 he directed the documentary LA GRANDE OCCASIONE. In 1997 he was assistant director in the feature film TEATRO DI GUERRA (REHEARSAL FOR WAR), by Mario Martone. In 1998 he shot the documentary C’ERA UNA VOLTA LA VALIGIA DI CARTONE, graduated from the NUCT (International School of Cinema and Television), and was assistant director in the feature THE DINNER (LA CENA), by Ettore Scola. In 1999 he made the short SCRITTE D’AMORE. In 2001 he wrote, directed and performed the fiction feature film UN ALTR’ANNO E POI CRESCO. In 2002 he graduated from the school of Mediaset Fiction. Then he shot the documentaries STEFANIA SENZA COGNOME (2003) and LA VITA È FATTA COSÌ! (2006), and the docu-drama IL TALEBANO (2009). This is his second fiction feature film.

Nel 1998 gira il documentario C’ERA UNA VOLTA LA VALIGIA DI CARTONE, si diploma alla NUCT (Scuola Internazionale di Cinema e Televisione), ed è assistente alla regia per il film LA CENA, di Ettore Scola. Nel 1999 realizza il corto SCRITTE D’AMORE. Nel 2001 scrive, dirige e interpreta il lungometraggio a soggetto UN ALTR’ANNO E POI CRESCO. Nel 2002 si diploma alla scuola di Fiction Mediaset. In seguito firma i documentari STEFANIA SENZA COGNOME (2003) e LA VITA È FATTA COSÌ! (2006), e la docufiction IL TALEBANO (2009). L’ULTIMO GOAL è il suo secondo lungometraggio di finzione.
