Una piccola polpetta scopre il mondo con la sua famiglia. In  questo corto: perdere di vista mamma e papà non è così male quando hai con te dei buoni amici.

Born in Stockholm. Educated at the School of Art, department for graphic design 1964¬¬-1968. Studied film at the University of Stockholm. Worked as Art Director in London and Amsterdam after completed studies. Joined GK Film AB in the beginning of the 70’s where he made some shorts for children based on his own original ideas. These shorts won prizes internationally. After this he began producing his own films. In 1992 Johan Hagelbäck started to paint in sour-milk (yougurt). He can also sound like a real frog.

Nato a Stoccolma, si forma presso la Scuola d'Arte, dipartimento di graphic design, dal 1964 al 1968. Ha studiato cinema presso l'Università di Stoccolma e, dopo gli studi, ha lavorato come Art Director a Londra e Amsterdam. Agli inizi degli anni ‘70 entra alla GK Film AB per la quale realizza alcuni cortometraggi per bambini basati su sue idee originali che ricevono premi in tutto il mondo. In seguito Johan comincia a produrre i suoi film in maniera indipendente. Nel 1992 Johan Hagelbäck ha iniziato a dipingere con lo yogurt e sa anche fare benissimo il verso della rana.
