Synopsis
Paris, 1910. The exuberant and nice inventor Raoul and his friend, the shy and romantic cinematographer Emile, go to retrieve a belt for the projector in the cinema where Emille works. Along the way, the two of them stop in the laboratory of a mad scientist, a botanical garden where they accidentally drop some tubes, creating a monstrous creature, a flea enlarged because of the potion created by two friends. The monster is frightened and takes refuge behind the scenes of Oiseau Rare, a club where the singer Lucille, a friend of Emile and Raoul, performs. Seeing the creature, Lucille at first is frightened, but then she’s fascinated by hearing its sweet singing. She hosts the monster in her dressing room, names it Francoeur and helps to disguise itself so that no one can recognize it. Emile, Raoul and Lucille try to save Francoeur from the evil Prefect Maynott who wants to capture and kill the poor and helpless monster.

Sinossi
Parigi, 1910. L’esuberante e simpatico inventore Raoul, e il suo amico, il timido e romantico cineoperatore Emile, vanno a recuperare una cinghia per il proiettore del cinema in cui lavora Emile. Lungo la strada, i due arrivano nel laboratorio di uno scienziato pazzo, un giardino botanico dove fanno cadere accidentalmente delle provette, dando vita a una mostruosa creatura, una pulce ingigantita a causa della pozione creata dai due amici. Il mostro, impaurito, scappa e si rifugia dietro le quinte del club L’Oiseau Rare, dove si esibisce la cantante Lucille, amica di Emile e Raoul. Lucille, vedendo il mostro, dapprima si spaventa, ma poi, sentendo il suo dolce canto, ne resta affascinata, lo accoglie nel suo camerino, lo chiama Francoeur, e lo aiuta a travestirsi, affinché nessuno lo noti. Emile, Raoul e Lucille tenteranno in ogni modo di salvare Francoeur dalle grinfie del malvagio prefetto Maynott, che vuole catturare e uccidere il povero, indifeso mostro.
