In this city where everything is built around the letter R, you speak and think in an R way. At school, a child learns with difficulty to write. His deletions create strange new signs.

Nicolas Bianco-Levrin
Born in 1979, Nicolas Bianco-Levrin studied at the Duperré Art school in Paris and published his first book for children SIMON WITHOUT NIGHTS in 2002 for which he won the Graphic Octogone Price from the International Centre of Literature for Children. Since that time, he published 18 books, using each time a new technique of illustration: picture in black and white or in colour, drawings with acrylic or Chinese ink. Nicolas Bianco-Levrin directed many animation short films. He is now working on a new short: THANK YOU MY DOG, produced by Folimage studio.
Nicolas Bianco-Levrin
Nato nel 1979, Nicolas Bianco-Levrin ha studiato alla Scuola d'Arte Duperré a Parigi, e nel 2002 ha pubblicato il suo primo libro per bambini, SIMON WITHOUT NIGHTS, per il quale ha vinto il premio Graphic Octogone del Centro Internazionale di Letteratura per l’Infanzia. Da allora ha pubblicato 18 libri, usando ogni volta una nuova tecnica di illustrazione: foto in bianco e nero e a colori, disegni con colori acrilici o china. Nicolas Bianco-Levrin ha diretto molti cortometraggi d’animazione. Al momento sta lavorando su un nuovo corto, THANK YOU MY DOG, prodotto dallo studio Folimage.
Julie Rembauville
Born 1982, Paris. She studied literature and audiovisuals at La Sorbonne University. In 2003, she published her first book for childern, I WON’T LET THEM DO IT! (JE NE ME LAISSERAI PAS FAIRE!) working with the picture drawer Nicolas Bianco-Levrin. Then, they realized films and books. THE MACHINO received the award of the best DVD-book for children in 2006, given by the CIELJ (International Centre of Literature for Children). She’s now working on an animated series project for TV, KROAK, written with Nicolas Bianco-Levrin and produced by Sacrebleu productions and on a short THANK YOU MY DOG produced by Folimage studio.
Julie Rembauville
Nata nel 1982 a Parigi. Ha studiato letteratura e audiovisivi presso l'Università della Sorbona. Nel 2003 ha pubblicato il suo primo libro per bambini, I WON’T LET THEM DO IT! (JE NE ME PAS LAISSERAI FAIRE!), lavorando con il disegnatore Nicolas Bianco-Levrin. In seguito ha realizzato film e libri. THE MACHINO ha ricevuto dal CIELJ (Centro Internazionale di Letteratura per l'Infanzia) il premio come migliore DVD-libro per bambini del 2006.
