Synopsis

Jo Idstad, 13 year-old, is a good student at school, but he is convinced that life is dangerous. In order to survive at school he has to avoid deadly dangers which according to him include his roughneck classmates, life-threatening sports and pretty girls. He’d much rather stick to his preferred activities, such as solving mathematical equations and swapping football cards. These are the tricks that help Jo keep his life under control. But then one day a new girl, Mari, joins his class and changes his life. Mari is a football player, the second best in the class when it comes to maths, and she’s also very cute. Soon Jo realises that Mari is the girl of his dreams. But he will have to take some risks if he wants to impress a girl like her. All at once things begin to go awry. Jo’s last hope is the Liverpool goalie card, a rare football card which could just solve all his problems.

Joe Idstad, 13 anni, è un brillante studente, ma è convinto che la vita sia piena di pericoli. Per sopravvivere a scuola deve evitarne molti: bulli, sport letali, belle ragazze. Joe preferirebbe di gran lunga confinarsi nelle sue attività preferite, come i problemi di matematica e lo scambio di figurine dei calciatori. Questi sono i mezzi che aiutano Jo a tenere la sua vita sotto controllo. Ma un giorno arriva in classe una ragazza nuova, Mari, che gli cambia la vita. Mari sa giocare a calcio, in classe è la seconda più brava in matematica, e per di più è molto carina. Presto Jo si rende conto che Mari è la ragazza dei suoi sogni, ma capisce anche che deve correre qualche rischio se vuole conquistare una ragazza come lei. Di colpo tutto inizia ad andare storto. L’ultima speranza di Jo è trovare la rara figurina del portiere del Liverpool, che potrebbe risolvere tutti i suoi problemi.
