Synopsis

An ambitious grandma wants to knit a sweater for the moon, but forgets to calculate the waning and waxing of her “customer”.

Un’ambiziosa nonnina vuole lavorare a maglia un maglione per la luna, ma dimentica di calcolare le diverse fasi della sua "cliente" che può essere calante o crescente.

Gil Alkabetz was born in 1957 in the Mashabei Sade Kibbutz, Israel. He studied Graphic Design at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem and worked as an animator and director in the Jerusalem studio Frame by Frame. He later worked as a freelance animator and illustrator and taught at various art schools in Israel. In 1995 Alkabetz moved to Stuttgart, where he was an independent filmmaker. He was Guest Professor at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, Denver, and at the Lucerne School of Art and Design. Alkabetz is a member of the German Film Academy and currently works as Guest Professor at the Film & Television Academy HFF ‹ in Konrad Wolf › Potsdam.

 

Gil Alkabetz
Gil Alkabetz è nato nel 1957 nel Kibbutz Mashabei Sade, in Israele. Ha studiato Graphic Design presso l'Accademia Bezalel di Arte e Design e ha lavorato come animatore e regista presso lo studio Frame by Frame, sempre a Gerusalemme. In seguito ha lavorato come animatore e illustratore freelance e ha insegnato presso varie scuole d'arte in Israele. Nel 1995 si trasferisce a Stoccarda, dove lavora come filmmaker indipendente. È stato professore al Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, di Denver, e presso la Scuola di Arte e Design di Lucerna. Alkabetz è membro dell’Accedemia cinematografica tedesca e attualmente insegna all’Accademia di Cinema e Televisione ’’Konrad Wolf’’ di Potsdam.
